today we went to almond valley farm place thingy in Livingston. I said quack to some ducks, baa to some sheep, and moo to a horse. I bounced on the trampolines, drove a (toy) tractor, poked a bunny and had birthday cake with Shane. My favourite thing by far was the tunnel and I spent most of my time running through it - great fun! Now i'm off to sleep for several hours. Hope Shane enjoyed his birthday as much as I did!

I've had a very bad chesty cough and cold - it's stopped me from sleeping (and my mum too) and has even made me have my first grown up vomit (sorry Granny) which was a bit scary. But it did mean I got lots of cuddles and my own way for a few days :-)

We went to our friday toddler group this morning and had an Easter service where i got a set of bells to shake during the prayers (was that not when I was meant to play them??) after that we went to the zoo where I loved seeing all the animals and playing at the parks but my favourite part was seeing a dog. mummy seemed a little miffed at that.

We had an easter egg hunt at church and I found 2 chocolate bunnies (mum claimed the bigger one!) - then I received a lovely bunny in the post - its from Granny's friend Barbara and it says "some bunny loves you" when I press the button... which I do... repeatedly!! Happy easter!!

I thought you might be a little interested to hear about my friends.

this is me and shane. I've known Shane for ages (see previous photos) and I see him at "mums and tods" and sometimes when we go to each others houses. I like to give him cuddles but he usually doesnt like getting them. He sent me a lovely valentine card though!

this is me and Ben - we like to play together at creche and sometimes we go to his house to play. We get very excited and scream when we see each other. Here's a picture of us playing the piano after church
I've got a new little friend now too - baby Beth - but I dont have any photos of us together yet becase she's only 1 week old!! I'm looking forward to playing with her when she grows up.

i love it when granny comes to visit - she brings me chocolate and educational toys!! She also plays games and sings songs and read books. here's granny reading the book for the 20th time.

I also like it because Granny helps me to keep the house clean - its hard work cleaning up after this lot!!

time to catch up with a little blogging. my mummy got a new camera phone last week so it should be easier to get pics of me to put on here. I thought I'd show you me and Mel jumping in the river at the braids. we got really muddy - but not as muddy as Cara my doggy... or mummy's car by the time we got home.

I got a new hair cut last week - short and funky :-) I hope my curls grow in again soon.

My neighbours bought me a lovely santa dress. i refused to wear the hat but i loved sneaking round their houses to deliver Christmas cards and sweeties on Christmas eve. I don't really understand what's going on but I love the twinkle stars on everyones houses and at the shops and on the trees.
I got lots of pressies and was very spoilt on Christmas day.
I loved playing with my new buggy and dolly - any suggestions for a name? I already have a dolly called Dolly so need some inspiration.
I also got a farm and a doll's bed and an etchasketch and some books and a tricycle and some clothes. what a lucky girl!

I'll try and be better at telling you whats going on. I finally got to writing a bit about centre parks.

When we went to centre parks there was a very exciting kitchen donated by my second-cousin lucy.
On the way home dad decided to bring it with us in the car and so now I have it in Edinburgh.
Today mummy and i moved it into my room so now i have a little bedsit.

To celebrate this great achievement we let her take us away on holiday (aren't we kind!).

There was lots of wildlife and I loved feeding the birds every morning...

If you ask my daddy he'll tell you the story of how he found me saying "woof" to a squirrel. I don't really know how to speak squirrel and I don't think I'll get another chance to try because after that theyve kept the front door locked.
We did lots of swimming and went out on the bikes (I was in a trailer!) and played in the activity areas.
Albany was very good at chasing me he made me laugh lots.

Bella is a little bit younger than me so I got to boss her around. Here's a pic of her having cuddles with Granny.
I had to share Granny all week.

We went out for Granny's birthday - here's some pics of Emma eating bolognese and me eating my chocolate ice-cream. Yummy!!

well hello.
i apologise for the long delay. Have so much to tell you about and boy can I tell you. You wouldn't understand it though because I only speak gibberish with a few english words thrown in... shoes...more...up...caca (i mean cara)... hiya... bye...no. All the important ones really.
I'm running around and tearing the house apart most days. I have just discovered the joys of "In the Night Garden" and "My Friends Tigger and Pooh" on the TV. My favourite game is chasing Cara although Mummy keeps telling me off because I'm a bit rough.
Would be good to hear if anyone is reading this after I'm sure most people have given up checking!

it's hard to believe it but I am going to be 1 year old on Sunday. I have grown so big! I looked huge beside little Thomas Archibald on Sunday. He is only 3 weeks old so we'll give him a little while to catch up.
I'm really looking forward to my birthday and getting spoilt. Granny is coming to see me and we will all stay at Gran and Grandad's for the weekend. We might even get to see Cara's pups.

i've spent lots of this week learning new things... how to trash my bedroom... how to clap hands... how to climb over things... how to pat the dog instead of tug at her hair... to name but a few. i've been going to jo jingles music class and love the pompoms. the tambourine tasted quite good too.
got to see oliver and nathan this week. they're getting big and Oli has more teeth than me (I'm still a toothless wonder) it was lots of fun chasing nathan round the flat. i'll miss them when they go away.
i also went to dobbies this morning and saw lots of fish and bunnies. i want one.
mummy has been teaching me how to pat Cara without pulling her hair. mummy says that i have to be extra nice to Cara as she probably has puppies in her belly. theyre going to come out of her belly on my birthday.

so now i'm big i've decided that life is too exciting to sleep through any of it. i like nothing more than standing at my cot shouting for my mum. "mamamamamama" I managed to stay awake till after 9pm tonight. brilliant. now dont be expecting a lie in in the morning!!

very big. im growing into a big girl and can show you how tall if you ask nicely. i was mistaken for a boy twice today because mummy took me out in a boys army jumper.
i've still got no teeth but i can standup and walk round the coffee table, which is good fun because there's lots of things to pull off!

i had a visit today from Abbey Monson. She is from a primary school in USA and has traveled via australia and new zealand to visit me here in Edinburgh. It was very snowy and cold so we didnt manage to do much sight seeing before she jumped in an envelope off to England to visit Julie and Brian and little Lily. i had my first christmas experience yesterday at gran and grandads. i got very spoilt with a new playmat and a seat, hats and scarves and lots of toys. i also got a mobile for over my cot from great aunty doreen.. she really is great!
looking forward to lots of fun in ireland next week too but i think i'll have to share the limelight with my cousins.

sorry i havent been blogging recently. As most bloggers will know its a bizarre life... you either have lots of time to blog and not much to say or too busy with bloggable things to blog them!
so heres some highlights...

my first autumn leaf - it fell right in my buggy. I've outgrown my pram and now i can sit up and see the world around me -its a cold wet world.

i've grown into my 3-6 month clothes. Not bad for a 5 and 1/2 month old! this is the outfit the warburtons bought me :-)

i love my doggy - Cara - I laugh when she runs around and i love to pull her ears! im not sure she likes me as much as i like her.

Well this weekend will be another first. my first time on a plane... my first time in Ireland... my first time at Granny's house. it wont be my first time at one of daddys gigs - infact he has one on wed too so Saturday's gig will be my third!

First Bus Trip

Today was the first day Mum and I braved the bus. It was so much fun. I gave lots of people smiles and got to see out the windows as the world passed by. The best part was that when we got off - Ruth and Leroy were there. We had lots of fun in Starbucks. Hope I get to go again soon.

Today was Uncle Peter and Aunt Helen's wedding. t was so much fun. I got entertained by Mel and Shanana the whole way to Creiff in the car.

The wedding was beautiful. I hope nobody noticed my burp during the service :-)

I said i'd tell you about my early christmas present from Gran (Dad's mum) - its a groove station. I get to spin the discs and play music and make things light up. The best part of it is that I can throw myself backwards whenever I want. It makes Mum a little nervous when I do it which makes it even funnier. I hope the batteries never run out.

I went to see my friends Oliver and Nathan today. Cara came too and she played with Jake. Here's a pci of me and Oliver. He is younger than me but we're the same size. I am a whole stone weight now. That's heavier than my mum was at my age! Hopefully I'll be taller than her when I grow up.

sorry i didnt get a chance to blog last week. i was away on my holidays. you can see a picof me lounging by the pool on mummys blog (www.weeali.blogspot.com). I had lots of fun and tried swimming for the first time. I wasnt very sure of the water but enjoyed watching all the other boys and girls.
I've not had much fun this week. My teeth are trying to force their way through my gums and its not very pleasant. Mummy gives me gel and calpol. Today she tried to give me a line of white powder. I decided to sniff it instead of taking it on my tongue. Mum says i look like a crack-head. what do you reckon?
i've also discovered my giggles in a big way. Mummy found my tickles by mistake what a shock she got when she was wiping my neck and i started to giggle. she hasnt stopped pestering me since. She tried to get a photo of me giggling but i dont pose for free.
I got to see my friend Taylor today but I spent most of the time crying and sleeping because of my sore teeth.
I'll need to tell you about my early Christmas present next time i blog. love to you all x rhw

On friday night we went to meet Oliver. He's only little but very cute. His big brother nathan came to visit me when i was only small and it was good to see him again too. He had lots of cars to play with. this weekend i got to meet my mum's friends from Whitehead. They all came over to see how cute i am and give me lots of cuddles. i think i impressed them with how big i've grown and how i like to stand up lots. we went out for lunch and coffee and then i got left at home with daddy. i wonder when i'll be old enough to go out with the big girls?

this morning i had some milk at 5am and went back to sleep. imagine how happy i was when my daddy came to get me at 8.30
we had on matching clothes. Cara (my puppy) couldn't tell the difference between us.
Now my daddy has gone to work and I am left at home looking after mummy and cara.

Tonight Mum, Dad and me went to visit Duncan and Maggie and their baby Taylor. She's only 5 weeks old! Thats less than half my age.

this is my first ever post. i guess i might go back and add earlier posts (if i can work out how to do that!) as so much has happened in my first 12 weeks. A whole new world has opened up. I can see things and hear things and feel things and unfortunately i can smell things too, guess you have to take the bad with the good!
i will use my newly aquired typing skills to keep you up-to-date with my adventures in this here world of ours. i must say it has been a good start.

a whole new world

I'm born! wohoo... hello world! i managed to get tugged out by some salad tongs (or forceps as Bertram called them) . I have a nice big mark on my face to show for it. mum is a little tired and so is dad. think i'll stay up all night and keep the midwives entertained. i'm two weeks earlier than i should be but i'm 2.97kg and 49cm long - a fair size if i do say so myself!
